250.00 ml flour — cake
250.00 ml digestive bran
7.00 ml baking powder
10.00 ml cinnamon — ground
2.00 ml mixed spice — ground
125.00 g butter — soft
250.00 ml oats
75.00 g peanuts — sprinkle nuts
125.00 ml castor sugar
125.00 ml dried fruitcake mix
50.00 ml milk
65.00 ml honey
2.00 eggs — whisked
24.00 wooden sticks or lollipop sticks
almonds — slivered
glacé cherries

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF).
Spray two baking sheets with non-stick spray.
Combine the cake flour, digestive bran, baking powder and spices. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add the oats, nuts, castor sugar and dried fruitcake mix and mix.
Mix the milk, honey and eggs and add to the dry ingredients. Mix well (the mixture will be crumbly).
Spoon onto the baking sheets, shape around the sticks and decorate with almonds, raisins and cherries.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool slightly on the baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
