Beef pitas with tzatziki
|10 ml||vegetable oil|
|500 g||beef — strips|
|1||rosa tomatoes — halved|
|cucumber — sliced, to serve|
|1/2||cucumber — grated, drained|
|1||garlic — cloves, crushed|
|100 ml||yoghurt — Greek|
Place the pita breads onto a baking tray and bake for about eight minutes or until puffed up.
In the meantime heat the oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the beef strips until browned. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Add the rosa tomatoes and sauté for a minute.
Mix the cucumber, garlic and yoghurt together and season well.
Halve the pita breads and stuff with the beef, tomatoes and slices of cucumber. Drizzle with the tzatziki sauce.
