GINGER AND PINE-APPLE PULP
Peel and chop 1 pineapple and
10cm fresh ginger. Add leaves of 2 mint sprigs and purée using a stickblender.
Drink as is or freeze to make granita or ice lollies.
2 GINGER TEA
Peel and slice 5cm fresh ginger
and 2cm fresh turmeric.Put in a teapot with 1 cinnamon stick and 15ml (1T)
honey. Add 30ml (2T) fresh lemon juice and cover everything in boiling
water. Brew for at least 30 minutes.
3. GINGER SHOT
Peel and slice 10-15cm freshginger.
Put in the bowl ofa food processor and addthe juice of 1 lemon.Pulse until
smooth andpour through a sieve,pressing out as muchjuice as possible. Keepthe
juice and discard thepulp in the sieve. Pourinto a shot glass, sprinklecayenne
pepper over –and knock it back!
