Summer is almost upon us, which means it’s time for festivals, outdoor events and soaking up the sun. Cape Town has jumped on the American trend of food trucks and one can usually find a wide selection of them at events all over the city.

We have hunted down, searched for and tasted the best of what Cape Town food trucks have to offer. Here’s a list of food trucks that you simply have to try.

1. Posh Nosh Africa

Posh Nosh Africa has two Cape Town trucks which serve such delicacies such as Thai rolled ice-cream, pancake dogs on a stick, bunny chow and many others. The business is run by three partners who have plenty of food industry experience between them.

Where can you find them: You can find Posh Nosh Africa mostly in Somerset West and Paternoster, although they travel around the West Coast for events such as the Vensters Festival and the Absa Cape Epic.

We are very eager to see where this venture takes us in the following year and cannot wait to share our plans and ideas with you soon.
