MasterChef’s Sue-Ann gets internship with Peter Tempelhoff
Sue-Ann Allen, runner up of our very successful Masterchef SA, will be furthering her culinary skills by doing a month’s internship with Peter Tempelhoff at The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel’s Greenhouse Restaurant.
‘We are delighted to welcome Sue-Ann to The Cellars-Hohenort and we are sure that she will enjoy her time, working with our team’, says Peter Tempelhoff. ‘I was extremely impressed by the way she executed my dish during one of the Elimination Challenges. Sue-Ann shows real promise and I look forward to mentoring her in the coming weeks.’
Peter Tempelhoff is Group Executive Chef for The Collection by Liz McGrath and oversees the 6 restaurants across the 3 hotels, including the flagship restaurant, The Greenhouse, which was awarded Eat Out’s Restaurant of the Year for 2012.
Peter was also awarded Relais & Châteaux Grand Chef status in November 2011 and joined the likes of Raymond Blanc of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Michel Roux Jr. of Le Gavroche, Heston Blumenthal of The Fat Duck – to name but a few.
