Pick n Pay putting limits in place for essential items

Pick n Pay has put stock limits in place. This is to ensure that we can keep as many customers as possible in stock of essentials. They have also implemented no-contact deliveries. So drivers will arrive at your address, ring the bell, and stand back. Once you answer the door, your order will be conveniently placed at a safe distance. The driver will then record your name, with the date and time of service in front of you, so you won’t need to sign any paperwork. The driver will depart with no direct contact. READ MORE.

Pick n Pay pensioner-only shopping hour

Pick n Pay, one of the country’s largest retailers, announced on 17 March that it would be allowing only pensioners to shop in its stores on Wednesdays from 7am to 8am. This comes after supermarkets have been inundated with customers panic-shopping as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic that is sweeping the globe and beginning to tighten its grip on South Africa. Many shops are running out of stock of toilet paper, hand sanitiser and other items deemed essentials in this coronavirus crisis.

The pensioners’ hour will start on 18 March 2020. If you are 65 years and older, set your alarm for an early wake-up on Wednesdays! Pick n Pay is all yours for the hour. *Ensure you have your ID with you. READ MORE.
