Cuisines of the world: fun recipes to celebrate the Olympic Games
Today marks the start of the Olympic Games and although there is no eating competition, we thought we would at least use the Games as a reason to inspire you with recipes. Most of the cuisines and food we are exposed to comes from elsewhere. If it were not for Italy we would not have pasta, if it were not for Japan, we would not have sushi, if it were not for Greece we would not have tzatziki, and so it goes on.
Food spreads like wild fire across the globe and with social media these days, whats made in Paris today, is made in New York the next. The fact is, without the sharing of food and food culture across borders, we would be eating pretty plainly, so in the spirit of the Olympics and the coming together of nations, lets celebrate the sharing of food around the world.
Here are some international recipes we couldn’t live without.
