Ingredients (5)

2 puff pastry
2 tuna — tinned, chunky
1 onion — medium
mayonnaise
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste

Method:

Flour the kitchen counter and lay the puff pastry on the flour.
• Lightly flour both sides of puff pastry
Gently roll out the puff pastry in both directions. Make sure that it is not too thin. It should be around 3mm thick.
Mix onions and tuna together in a bowl.
Add mayonnaise until everything is lightly covered. Use it sparingly, otherwise the pastry will become soggy. You can aslo add chutney.
Pour everything onto the puff pastry and gently spread the mixture over the whole pastry piece. Gently roll up the pastry like a swiss roll.
Grease a oven tray and gently place the tuna roll onto the tray.
Beat an egg yolk and then paint it onto the the pastry.
Place the tray in a preheated oven of 200°C and bake until the pastry is golden brown.
Serve with a salad and rice.
