Tasty hamburgers

Ingredients

 
  • 500
    g
    ground lean beef mince
  • 2
    slices white bread, roughly crumbled
  • 10
    ml
    mustard (any kind)
  • 15
    ml
    dried mixed herbs
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • 2
    ml
    ground black pepper
  • 15
    ml
    olive oil for frying

Method

 
1. Mix minced beef, bread crumbs, mustard, herbs and seasoning together in a bowl - mixing by hand works best. 2. Divide the mixture in 4 evenly, and shape patties - slightly thicker patties hold together better. 3. Fry in olive oil, keeping stove on a medium heat. 4. If patties start to shrink, add a little boiling water from the kettle. This will help them keep their size, and stay moist. 5. Serve on a soft bread roll with crisp lettuce, sliced tomato and a slice of cheese or avo.
