  • 250
    ml
    Sugar
  • 5
    ml
    Cinnamon
  • 15
    ml
    Sugar
  • 125
    ml
    Milk
  • 60
    g
    Butter, at room temperature
  • 1 Egg
  • 100
    g
    Butter
  • 500
    ml
    Cake Flour
  • 15
    ml
    Baking Powder
 
 

Method

 
Preheat oven to 180 C & spray a ring cake pan. Sift flour, sugar & baking powder together. Rub in the butter. Beat milk and egg together. Add to dry ingredients & mix to a firm dough. Press out to a thickness of 1,5cm on a floured surface, cut into circles, & then cut each circle into quarters. Mix sugar & cinnamon together, roll pieces of dough in this mixture. Place dough into ring pan. Melt butter & remaining sugar & cinnamon mixture together, & spoon over dough. Bake about 25 min & turn out carefully onto a cake platter. Serve lukewarm.
