  • 1/6 cup pumpkin seeds
  • freshly squeezed orange juice
  • mini rice cakes
  • 1/6 cup small biltong pieces
  • cheese wedge
  • 1/6 cup sultanas
  • banana
  • 1/6 cup corn bites (dried mealies)
  • 1/6 cup raw peanuts


Spread some Marmite on mini rice cakes or serve as is. Pack cheese and banana in lunchbox with rice cakes. Mix the rest of the booster ingredients and put in a small plastic bag. You can let your child carry the "booster" bag in his jacket pocket for snacking in between classes to keep blood sugar levels stable.
