Cheese and onion bread

A wintery classic dish to warm you up.



  • 1 Savannah cider (340ml)
  • 3 cups of self-raising flour
  • (a few fried onion rings for the top)
  • 2
    brown onion soup powder
  • 100
    grated cheese


Mix all ingredients together. No kneading required and pour mixture into a bread tin. Top with onion rings and cheese. Cover and bake in oven at 180C for about 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the oven. Bake uncovered for the last 10 minutes of the cooking time.
