Ingredients (4)

700 ml milk
250 ml flour — self-raising
1 pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla — essence

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together well with 2 eggs to make a batter.
Fry the small size flap jacks in a non stick pan with a tsp of oil.

Fill a flap jack with a few pieces of cold fresh fruit like strawberries, blue berries or bananas and roll it closed so that it’s easier to eat!

The combination of the warm flap jack and the cold fruit is absolutely delicious!

A variety of toppings can be used like chocolate sauce, or maple syrup.

For picnics, pack your already sliced fruit in a separate container and put your still warm flapjacks into some foil. Kids love it.
