Eight is a farm-to-table eating experience in Stellenbosch at Spier Wine Estate. Like its name, the restaurant is an expression of balance, cycles, harmony, infinity and abundance.

Brunch is an a la carte menu featuring signature dishes such as eggs benedict, a farm omelette and homemade muesli. For lunch, the Harvest Table offers a mouthwatering variety of hot and cold food. The dishes change every day, depending on what is available in the garden.

There are always fresh salads and interesting combinations of ingredients and flavours.

To complement the Harvest Table, Eight prepares prime cuts of Spier’s pasture-reared meat fresh from the braai outside. The winter menu features soul warming, slow-cooked foods with deep caramelised flavours – served home-style.

Dishes include rosemary-tied leg of lamb in Shiraz with buttered polenta and pancetta braised cabbage, and roast chicken with caramelised oranges, beans and toasted almond pumpkin.

Afternoon tea is a treat with special home-baked cakes available.

A children's menu is also available.
