Ingredients (14)

1 1/2 cup cake flour
1 tsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
114 g butter
100 g sugar
2 eggs
3 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp vanilla paste
1/2 cup yoghurt
1/4 cup black sesame seeds
100 g butter
100 g icing sugar
80 g white chocolate
1 tbsp sesame oil

Method:

FOR THE BLACK SESAME LOAF

Preheat an oven to 180 C.

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt.

Cream the butter and sugar. Once light and fluffy, add in the eggs and beat in one at a time.

Add the sesame oil, vanilla paste, yoghurt and black sesame seeds. Mix thoroughly.

Using a metal spoon, flour the flour into the wet mixture.

Spoon the batter into a lined loaf tin. Bake for 40-45 min.

FOR THE WHITE CHOCOLATE AND SESAME OIL BUTTERCREAM

In a double boiler, melt the white chocolate.

Sift the icing sugar and then cream the butter and sifted icing sugar together.

Add the sesame oil and melted white chocolate, beat into a smooth buttercream consistency.

Smooth the buttercream onto the loaf and enjoy!
