Ingredients (9)

4 pork steaks
1 onion — finely chopped
3 garlic — cloves, minced
2 paprika
1 fresh thyme
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup cream
1 wholegrain mustard

Method:

Saute the onion in a medium hot skillet pan until soft and translucent. Place the pork steaks in the pan and sear on both sides. Season steaks and set aside.

Add the garlic and the paprika to the pan and stir to combine. Next, add the mustard, thyme and stir.

Pour in the chopped sundried tomatoes and the cream.

Place the pork steaks back into the sauce and allow them to cook through, about 5 – 10 minutes. Top with more thyme before serving.

Enjoy with cooked cauli rice for a low carb meal, or indulge in mashed potatoes, creamy polenta or rice.
