Ingredients (8)

200.00 g chicken breast fillets
1.00 spring onions — bunch, white parts only
fresh chillies — to taste
YAKITORI SAUCE
30.00 ml soy sauce — low sodium
15.00 ml sugar
15.00 ml mirin
15.00 ml wine — rice, sake
sunflower oil — for frying

Method:

SAUCE: Mix ingredients together and cook for 1 hour over low heat.
Cut chicken fillets and spring onion into 2 cm pieces and thread onto 4 skewer.
Fry over medium heat, turning often, and pour sauce over chicken just before serving.
Arrange chicken on a plate and serve sprinkled with chilli pepper.
TOTAL KILOJOULE COUNT: 3 440 kJ (820 Cal). A portion: 860 kJ (205 Cal).
