Watermelon sorbet

Ingredients (5)

3 cup watermelon — pieces
1/2 cup water — cold
1 cup sugar
4 Tbs lemon juice
1 Tbs vodka

Method:

Put the sugar and water in a pot and heat
slowly to melt the sugar. Bring the syrup to a boil and boil for about 3
minutes. Cool the syrup.

Puree the watermelon in a blender and strain.
Combine the puree with the lemon juice and vodka and stir in the sugar syrup. Transfer
this mixture to your ice-cream maker and churn until ready or pour into a
plastic container and freeze. Every hour just beat the mixture with a fork to
break up the ice crystals. Place back in freezer.
