Warm smoked sausage and potato salad

  • 250
    smoked sausages
  • 250
    small potatoes, halved
  • 2
    baby cabbages, shredded
  • For serving:
  • Snipped chives
  • For the mustard dressing , blend together:
  • 2
    red wine vinegar
  • 2
    Dijon mustard
  • cup
    olive oil
  • Sea salt and milled black pepper to taste


20 mins
Prick the sausages and drop them into boiling water for a minute or two. Drain and slice.

Meanwhile, steam the potatoes until tender. Drain and mix with the dressing, cabbage and sausage.

Sprinkle with chives and serve while still warm.

Good with sourdough rye bread on the side.
