Ingredients (7)

8.00 waffles — mini
TOPPING
60.00 ml mascarpone cheese
5.00 ml cinnamon — ground
orange — zest only
SAUCE
125.00 ml marmalade — orange, lemon or kumquat
1.00 lemon juice
15.00 ml brandy

Method:

SAUCE: Place marmalade in a small saucepan and heat over low heat until liquid. Add lemon juice and brandy and stir to blend.
Meanwhile, heat or toast waffles and place on serving plates.
TOPPING: Mix mascarpone cheese with ground cinnamon, if using. Spoon cheese mixture onto waffles and drizzle marmalade syrup over.
Decorate with orange peel and serve immediately.
