Waffles with ice cream and nectarine sauce

    nectarines, stoned and slice
  • 85
    castor sugar
  • 1
    stick cinnamon
  • 10
  • 6
    readymade waffles
  • 500
    vanilla ice cream
  • 20
    slivered almonds, toasted


10 minutes
Mix the nectarines, sugar, cinnamon stick and muscadel with 30 ml water.
Heat over a low heat and simmer for five minutes.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Heat the waffles according to the packet isntructions and top with ice cream.
Pour over the sauce and garnish with the toasted almonds.
Variation:Slice four bananas and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mix.
Serve on top of the waffles with ice cream.
