Two-pear salad

    avocado pear, sliced and sprinkled with vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1
    large ripe pear, pips removed, sliced and dipped in lemon juice
  • 50
    gruyére cheese, cut into strips
  • 1
    butter lettuce, leaves separated and washed
  • 60
    chopped pecan nuts, to serve
  • 15
    dressing: honey
  • 15
    lemon juice
  • 125
    thick bulgarian yoghurt


1. Arrange the avocado, pear and cheese on the lettuce leaves.

2. Dressing Combine the ingredients for the dressing and season to taste. 3. Pour the dressing over the salad just before serving and sprinkle with pecan nuts.
