Ingredients (19)

1.00 lettuce
1.00 tomatoes — large, cut in wedges
12.00 black olives
1.00 onion — sliced
2.00 gherkins — sliced
125.00 ml peas — tinned
200.00 g tuna — tinned and drained
1.00 red pepper — small, chopped
1.00 green pepper, sliced
fresh parsley — chopped
2.00 carrots — cut into strips
3.00 eggs — hard-boiled, wedges
SALAD DRESSING
125.00 ml oil
5.00 ml salt
3.00 ml freshly ground black pepper
10.00 ml sugar
65.00 ml vinegar
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
2.00 ml mustard — powder

Method:

1. Line a salad bowl with the lettuce leaves, and arrange all the other ingredients on them.
2. Place the ingredients for the dressing in a glass jar. Shake well and pour over the salad.
3. Serve with freshly baked wholewheat bread and butter.
