    thick custard, made with milk powder and prepared according to instructions on the packet or use rea

    strawberry jelly, prepared according to the instructions on the packet

    lime jelly, prepared according to the instructions on the packet

    cream, stiffly whipped (optional)


Arrange a layer of finger biscuits in the bottom of a glass bowl. Top with a layer of fruit and pour over a little of the fruit juice. Intersperse with a few cherries and sprinkle with pecan nuts. Pour over a layer of custard. Slice the set jelly into cubes and sprinkle on top. Otherwise, pour a little liquid jelly over the ingredients in the bowl and leave it to set with the fruit before assembling the next layer. Repeat the layers till all the ingredients have been used, reserving a few pecan nuts, finger biscuit and cherries for decoration. Decorate with piped cream rosettes and the remaining ingredients. Chill. Serves 8-10.
