Ingredients (9)

1.00 ox tongue — cooked, sliced
30.00 ml mustard — prepared
125.00 ml sugar
30.00 ml oil
30.00 ml flour — cake
250.00 ml water — boiled
250.00 ml mayonnaise
125.00 ml vinegar — white garpe
breadcrumbs

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Arrange the tongue slices in an ovenproof dish. Blend the mustard, sugar, oil and cake flour and pour over the boiling water. Stir until well blended and add the mayonnaise and vinegar. Pour over the tongue, sprinkle with breadcrumbs if desired and bake for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
