Ingredients (10)

75.00 g butter
200.00 g chocolate biscuits — crushed
75.00 g pecan nuts — chopped
200.00 g chocolate — plain
125.00 ml cream — thick
500.00 g cottage cheese — or mascarpone cheese
15.00 ml nescafé strong black coffee
50.00 g castor sugar
175.00 ml yoghurt — plain
nuts — chopped, to decorate

Method:

1. Melt butter in a pan and stir in biscuits and 2/3 of the pecans. Press into the base of a greased fluted flan dish, chill in the refrigerator.
2. Melt 175 g of chocolate, cool slightly. Whip cream until stiff. Beat half of the cheese in a bowl with coffee, sugar and melted chocolate. Gently fold in cream. Pour into flan dish and smooth top. Chill until firm.
3. Meanwhile, melt remaining chocolate over pan of gently simmering water and leave to cool slightly.
4. Mix together the remaining cheese and yoghurt and swirl over the top of the cheesecake. Sprinkle over remaining nuts and chocolate chips or dust lightly with cocoa powder to decorate.
