Ingredients (9)

1.00 shortcrust pastry
4.00 cottage cheese
250.00 ml sour cream
160.00 ml castor sugar
60.00 ml flour — cake
3.00 eggs — extra-large
5.00 ml vanilla — essence
5.00 ml lemon — zest only
80.00 ml cocoa powder

Method:

Preheat oven to 200 &degC. Press the shortcrust pastry onto base and sides of a greased 23 cm x 32 cm Swiss roll tin.
Bake for about eight minutes, then remove from oven and cool.
Reduce oven temperature to 160 &degC.
FILLING
Beat together cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar and flour until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time, vanilla essence and lemon rind and mix well.
Divide mixture into two and add cocoa to one half.
Pour white mixture into pastry base, followed by the chocolate mixture on top, and swirl through.
Bake for 1 to 1 ¼ hours, or until set. Remove from oven and garnish with strawberries.
