Tasty chicken bites

    olive oil

    large chicken wings, halved

    cake flour

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper


Preheat oven to 200 °C and pour the olive oil into a roasting pan.
Snip the ends off the chicken wings and pat dry with paper towelling.
Blend the flour, salt and paprika and coat the chicken wings with the mixture.
Shake off excess flour.
Place the roasting pan in the oven until the olive oil is hot and add the wings in a single layer.
Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper and roast for 30 to 40 minutes until crisp and golden brown.
Hint:To halve a chicken wing, simply feel for the wing joint, press a knife into the centre of the joint and keep pressing down to cut through the flesh.
