Ingredients (5)

4.00 bananas — sliced
125.00 ml peanuts — unsalted
50.00 g brown sugar
SYRUP
2.00 ml cinnamon — ground
0.00 ice cream — vanilla, to serve

Method:

Spread the slices of banana on a greased baking tray.
Scatter over the nuts, sprinkle over the sugar and cinnamon, and drizzle on the syrup.
Grill under a hot grill for about five minutes or until the sugar begins to bubble.
Serve warm spooned over vanilla ice cream.

TIP
These easy-to-make sticky bananas are delicious served with custard and a slice of sponge cake, and also as a filling for pancakes or spooned over waffles and drizzled with a little cream.
