Ingredients (7)

250.00 g bacon — cut into pieces
2.00 onions — large, finely chopped
410.00 g sweetcorn
65.00 ml mayonnaise
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
12.00 bread — hamburger buns
250.00 ml cheddar cheese — grated

Method:

Heat a pan and fry the bacon and onions until cooked and tender. Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
Mix the bacon and onions with the sweetcorn and mayonnaise and season to taste. Divide the mixture between the 12 rolls, spooning it on the bottom half of the rolls only. Sprinkle with cheese and grill under a heated oven grill until hot and the cheese has melted. Close the rolls and serve hot.
Makes 12 burgers.
