Ingredients (12)

oil — for frying
1.00 onion — sliced
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
1.00 fresh ginger — chopped
1.00 red pepper — strips
500.00 g pork — cut into strips
150.00 g green beans — trimmed
1.00 pineapple — peeled and cubed
125.00 ml sweet and sour sauce
1.00 lemon juice
freshly ground black pepper
sesame seeds — toasted

Method:

Heat oil until almost smoking in a large wok or frying pan.
Add onion, garlic and ginger and stir-fry for about 2 minutes. Add pepper strips and toss to coat. Add pork and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes. If the meat begins to stick, add a little chicken stock.
Add beans, stir-fry for 2 minutes then add pineapple, sweet and sour sauce and lemon juice and cook for about 4 minutes.
Season to taste, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately, with rice or Chinese noodles.
