125.00 g blueberries — fresh or frozen
60.00 g pecan nuts — coarsely chopped
100.00 ml port
1.00 cinnamon — stick
black pepper — freshly ground
brown sugar — to taste
1.00 kg strawberries

Method:

Place the blueberries, pecan nuts, port, cinnamon stick, black pepper and brown sugar in a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
Cool and chill in the fridge.
Remove the cinnamon stick.
Hull the strawberries and carefully hollow them out with a small knife. Spoon a little of the filling into each strawberry.
Serve chilled.
