Stuffed pita

  • 1
    chicken breast fillet, cut into strips
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 5
    soy sauce
  • oil
  • 1
    clove of garlic, crushed
  • 3
    baby mealies (sweetcorn), sliced
  • 2
    baby carrots, sliced
  • 3
    courgettes, sliced
  • 4
    fresh button mushrooms, sliced
  • 2
    fresh asparagus, sliced
  • 1
    pita bread


Season the chicken breast strips lightly with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with the soy sauce. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the chicken. Remove and set aside. Lightly sauté the vegetables in oil so that they remain crisp. Mix with the chicken. Stuff the pitas with the mixture.
