Strawberry muffins

Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a large bowl.
Add the cup sugar.
Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture.
Blend together milk, melted butter and egg in a separate bowl and pour into the well in the flour mixture.
Stir together quickly with a fork to just moisten all dry ingredients. Do not beat.
Lightly stir the strawberries into the batter just until evenly distributed.
Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper cups and divide the batter among the cups.
Sprinkle a little sugar on top of each muffin.
Bake in a preheated oven of 200°C for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Turn out on a wire rack and let it cool slightly.
You can let it cool down completely or serve it warm.
