Strawberry and goat’s cheese salad with poppy seed dressing

Ingredients (8)

DRESSING
60.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
45.00 ml vinegar — balsamic
5.00 ml poppy seeds
salt and freshly ground black pepper
SALAD
250.00 g strawberries
watercress
rocket — washed
150.00 g goat's milk cheese — or feta cheese

Method:

Mix dressing ingredients together.
Wash, hull and halve strawberries. Toss berries and dressing together and macerate for at least 15 minutes.
Arrange salad leaves and cheese on a shallow plate, add strawberry mixture and serve with crusty bread.
Per serving: 1 100 kJ; 7 g carbohydrate; 6,6 g protein; 24 g fat
