Stir-fried mushrooms with cream and sage

Ingredients (7)

15.00 ml butter
250.00 ml button mushrooms — sliced
250.00 ml oyster mushrooms — sliced
15.00 ml fresh sage — chopped
250.00 ml cream
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1.00 bread — large, focaccia, toasted

Method:

Heat butter in a large frying pan.
Add mushrooms and stir-fry for 5 minutes, or until browned and softened. Add sage and cream and cook for 3 minutes.
Season creamed mushrooms and serve on wedges of toasted focaccia for a perfect Sunday supper.
