400.00 g puff pastry
60.00 ml butter
250.00 g speck — chopped
3.00 leeks — finely chopped
250.00 g peas — frozen
4.00 eggs
room
5.00 ml sout
5.00 ml freshly ground black pepper
250.00 ml cheddar cheese

Method:

Oondtemperatuur:180 °C
1. Voorverhit die oond. Rol die
skilferkorsdeeg oop en voer ‘n reghoekige oondvaste tertbak daarmee
uit ? sorg dat die bak se kante ook
bedek is. Sny die rande netjies met
‘n skerp mes en prik die bodem
met ‘n vurk.


2. Verhit die botter in ‘n pan en braai
die spek totdat dit begin verkleur.
Voeg die preie by en roerbraai tot
sag. Gooi die ertjies by en roer dit tot
deurwarm. Haal die mengsel van die
plaat af en laat dit afkoel.

3. Klits die eiers en room en geur dit
met sout en vars gemaalde swartpeper.
Skep die afgekoelde spekmengsel
in die tertkors en gooi die eier-en-
roommengsel bo-oor. Strooi die kaas
bo-oor en bak die pastei vir sowat
45 minute of totdat dit goudbruin en
gestol is. Sit warm voor.
