Ingredients (13)

15.00 ml butter
1.00 onion — small, chopped
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
1.00 green pepper — diced
2.00 tomatoes — peeled and chopped
170.00 g tuna — tinned chunks, drained
10.00 ml fresh oregano — chopped
200.00 ml stock — chicken
3.00 ml fresh lemon
50.00 ml wine — dry white
65.00 ml chutney
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
250.00 g spaghetti

Method:

Melt the butter and sauté; the onion, garlic and green pepper until soft and flavoursome.
Add the tomatoes, tuna, origanum, stock, lemon juice, wine and chutney.
Season generously, reduce the heat and simmer slowly for 20 minutes.
Cook the spaghetti in rapidly boiling salted water until done, drain and mix with the hot tuna sauce.
