Smoor snoek with cabbage

  • 500
    dried salted snoek
  • 1
    onion, sliced
  • oil
  • 1
    cabbage, shredded
  • garlic
  • red chillies
  • potatoes


45 minutes
Cook the snoek in water for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile fry the onion in oil until soft and add the cabbage, garlic and chillies.
Add the potatoes and snoek and simmer slowly for 20 to 30 minutes or until the potatoes are done.
