Ingredients (11)

50.00 g butter
150.00 g onions — cut into wedges
200.00 g gammon — steaks, thinly sliced
10.00 ml curry powder
300.00 g baby potatoes
500.00 ml stock — chicken
150.00 ml milk
500.00 g haddock — skinned fillets, cubed
150.00 ml cream
20.00 ml fresh Italian parsley — coarsely chopped
freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add onions and gammon and cook for 10 minutes, stirring from time to time. Stir in curry powder.
Halve potatoes, add to saucepan and cook for 5 minutes, then add stock and milk. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are cooked.
Add fish and stir in cream. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until fish is tender.
Serve in warmed soup bowls, garnished with parsley and black pepper.
