Sirloin steaks with tomato garlic sauce

Ingredients (6)

4.00 Beef Sirloin — steaks
8.00 tomatoes — large, peeled and chopped
3.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
15.00 ml fresh basil — chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
fresh basil — or parsley, to garnish

Method:

Preheat the grill.
Grill the steaks for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cooked to your liking, turning once.
Place the tomatoes, garlic, basil and seasoning in a saucepan, and simmer until tomatoes are soft.
Transfer the steaks to a heated serving dish and spoon over the sauce.
Garnish with sprigs of basil.
