Ingredients (7)

30.00 apricots
SYRUP
750.00 ml water
250.00 g sugar
1.00 vanilla — pod
2.00 ml almond essence
2.00 bay leaves
2.00 cinnamon — stick

Method:

SYRUP: Bring all ingredients to boil.
Gently lower whole fruits, one by one, into syrup. Cover, turn down heat and simmer until fruits have softened.
Remove and allow to cool. Refrigerate in saucepan in which they were cooked.
When cold, spoon out into a bowl.
