Seafood and red onion pizza bites

    olive oil

    red onion, sliced into rings

    readymade pizza bases
  • 120
    readymade tomato pasta sauce
  • 300
    mixed seafood, steamed (calamari, mussels, prawns)
  • 150
    mozzarella, cubed
  • salt and pepper to taste

Heat oil in a frying pan, add onions and sauté over a low heat for 5 minutes until softened. Using a biscuit cutter, cut out 24 x 5 cm rounds from the pizza bases. Arrange on 2 baking sheets. Spoon a little tomato pasta sauce on each round, followed with a few onion rings. Add a spoonful of seafood and top with mozzarella. Season with crushed black pepper and salt, to taste. Drizzle a little oil over pizza rounds and bake at 200 ºC for 15 minutes.
