Savoury samp

  • 1
    green or red pepper, diced
  • a few baby mealies (baby sweetcorn), sliced
  • oil
  • 250
    peas (optional)
  • 750
    cooked samp
  • cayenne pepper
  • salt


Sauté the peppers and baby mealies in a little oil until glossy. Add the peas and samp and stir-fry until thoroughly heated. Season with a pinch of cayenne pepper and salt. Serve with lamb potjie with raisins and sour cream (see recipe). Serves 4.
