Salad Caprese

    ripe plum tomatoes
  • 100
    Parmalat cheese
  • 30
    extra-virgin olive oil
  • 15
    young basil leaves
  • 3
    balsamic vinegar


1. Slice the tomatoes, pouring off any excess juice. Cut the cheese into slices of a similar thickness.
2. Arrange alternating rows of tomato and cheese on basil leaves on a serving plate. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle the olive oil on top.
3. To serve, take to the table and sprinkle with balsamic vinegar and freshly ground black pepper.
