Rose and strawberry sorbet

Ingredients (5)

2 strawberries
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
3-4 rose petals
lemon — juice only

Method:

Soak the petals in the water, add the sugar and bring to a quick boil for about 3 minutes.
Remove the petals and allow the syrup to cool.
Meanwhile puree the strawberries in a blender, add the lemon juice and cooled syrup.
Transfer to a plastic container and freeze.
Every hour beat the mixture with a fork to break up the ice crystals.
Or freeze the sorbet overnight and the next morning put it in a blender to fluff up and re-freeze it.
