Roasted butternut pizza

Ingredients (7)

1 butternut — seedles, sliced
olive oil — parmesan infused
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
250 g bacon — streaky, diced and fried
100 g gorgonzola cheese — broken into pieces
8 fresh sage — leaves
125 ml parmesan cheese

Method:

Preheat oven to 180ºC.

Drizzle butternut rounds with Parmesan oil and season. Roast for 40 -45 minutes or until tender.

Turn heat up to 220ºC.

Top each round generously with remaining ingredients and place into the oven for +- 10 minutes or until golden, crisp and bubbling. Drizzle with a bit more Parmesan infused oil.

Serve immediately!

Serve with a crisp rocket and tomato salad
Delicious with pork chops, roast chicken or a juicy steak
