Rice: how to cook

  • rice
  • water
  • salt


For four people, place 300 ml rice into a large saucepan. Add 600 ml water and 5 ml salt and bring to the boil over medium heat. Stir once, then lower the heat to a gentle simmer. Cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid and cook gently for the time stated on the packet.
