Ingredients (9)

750.00 ml rice — cooked
1.00 onion — sliced into rings
1.00 green pepper — diced
1.00 celery stalks — chopped
oil
300.00 g bully beef — diced
2.00 eggs — hard-boiled, sliced
500.00 ml white sauce
50.00 g cheddar cheese — grated

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease an ovenproof dish.
Spoon half the rice into the ovenproof dish.
Sauté the onion, green pepper and celery in a little oil till soft. Spoon half the mixture on top of the rice and sprinkle half the diced bully beef and hard-boiled egg over it. Pour over a layer of white sauce. Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of white sauce. Sprinkle with the Cheddar cheese. Heat for about 20 minutes or till the dish is warmed through and the cheese has melted.
Serves 4.
