Ingredients (16)

400.00 g puff pastry — defrosted
1.00 eggs — extra-large, whisked
With caramel:
380.00 g Nestlé Caramel Treat
2.00 bananas — sliced
125.00 ml cream — whipped
With instant pudding or custard:
jam — apricot
custard — thick, cold
nuts — chopped
With tuna:
370.00 g tuna — tinned in brine, shredded
100.00 ml mayonnaise
15.00 ml fresh parsley — finely chopped
With bully beef:
300.00 g bully beef — mashed
2.00 eggs — hard-boiled and finely chopped
15.00 ml mayonnaise
onion — finely chopped
fresh parsley — chopped

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200 ºC (400 ºF). Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
Roll the pastry out until slightly thinner. Cut the rectangle in half. Brush the sides of the two rectangles with the whisked egg. Fold each rectangle diagonally to form a triangle. Do not press the sides together. Brush the tops of the triangles with the remaining egg. Place the pastry on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until well-risen and golden brown. Cool thoroughly. Open the cooked crust by lifting the top layer with the tip of a knife. Fill with any sweet or savoury filling.

FILLINGS
Caramel
Spread or pipe the caramel condensed milk on the bottom crust, arrange bananas on top and pipe with cream.

With instant pudding or custard
Spread the bottom crust with a layer of apricot jam. Top with custard or instant pudding and sprinkle with nuts.

With tuna
Mix all the ingredients and spoon into the crust.

With bully beef
Mix all the ingredients and spoon into the crust.
